About Neurosomatic Institute

Neurosomatic Institute of Columbus combines advanced neurological evaluation with a patient-centered approach focused on clarity, understanding, and individualized care for complex neurological conditions.

Beyond Clinical Care

In addition to patient care, Neurosomatic Institute of Columbus is committed to neurological education and community awareness through ongoing clinical engagement, patient education, and educational outreach. We believe patients and families deserve more than medical terminology alone. They deserve thoughtful guidance, meaningful conversations, and a clear understanding of their condition and care options.

Our mission is to provide compassionate, state-of-the-art neurological care while empowering patients and the broader community with the clarity and understanding needed to make confident, informed decisions. Through personalized care, careful evaluation, and continued involvement in neurological learning, we strive to create an environment where patients feel supported, respected, and genuinely heard throughout their care journey.

Reinaldo Verson, MD

BOARD CERTIFIED NEUROLOGIST

Understanding the condition is just as important as treating it.

I’ve spent more than 30 years practicing neurology, focusing on cerebrovascular conditions, neuromuscular disorders, and neurodegenerative diseases.

I earned my medical degree from the University of Zaragoza Faculty of Medicine in Spain, followed by a neurology internship at St. Louis University School of Medicine and fellowship training at Emory University School of Medicine. I am board certified in Neurology through the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.

Over the years, I’ve found that treating neurological conditions is only part of the care I provide. I believe meaningful care begins with understanding the condition first. Patients should know what’s happening, why it’s happening, and what can be done moving forward. Neurological disorders can be complex, and my goal is to make that information clear, practical, and useful.

In addition to patient care, I lecture regularly on neurological disorders, which keeps me actively engaged in both clinical practice and ongoing education.

Ultimately, I want my patients to clearly understand their condition, have a solid treatment plan, and feel confident moving forward.
